Salina Downtown
Parade of Lights
November 23, 2024 6pm
Each parade entry must supply two float escorts, one person for each side of the float, to ensure that spectators remain a safe distance from the float. ALL candy must be distributed by parade walkers ONLY! No candy may be thrown from a float or vehicle.
Pre-Parade performances will begin at 5:00PM sharp at City Lights Stage. Please indicate if you wish to be included in the pre-parade performances. There is NO stopping to perform during the Parade of Lights.
Salina Downtown contracts with the "REAL" Santa Claus so we ask that you do NOT use a Santa Claus as any part of your parade entry. There is no theme for this year's parade, so please be as creative as you want but remember your float or vehicle MUST be decorated. Please complete the application below for parade entry.
DEADLINE for entry is Monday, November 18th at noon! We will NOT accept late entries! All registered entries will receive an e-mail with line-up by Thursday, November 21st at 4pm.
SaWINEa Wine Walk
You are invited to join us as our beautiful downtown shops become tasting rooms for locally made wines and brews. Each participant will receive a tasting glass and other goodies as you wander downtown taking in the ambient music, wines, brews, shopping, and all else that Salina Downtown has to offer. Bring your spouse, your friends, or your other family to enjoy this yearly event.
